PIERIDES MUSEUM & FUTURE DMND PRESENT
“HOLOMORPHOSIS” BY ANDREAS STYLIANOU

Pierides Museum in Larnaca and Future DMND in Los Angeles, US are honoured to present
Andreas Stylianou’s forthcoming solo exhibition, “HOLOMORPHOSIS ” in the museum’s space.
The exhibition will run from 14 December 2023 — 14th of February 2024.

This exhibition comprises Stylianou’s response to the museum’s treasured permanent collection.
“HOLOMORPHOSIS”, meaning the continuation and completion of the existing emerges as an
immersive and stimulating extrapolation of the historical narrative. By melding contemporary
artistic visions with the museum’s esteemed historical collection, the exhibition offers visitors an
opportunity to engage with both the ancestral and the new.

Occupying seven spaces within the museum, the showcase shall feature an array of artworks
created by Andreas Stylianou during 2022-23. The diverse selection encompasses an intriguing
amalgamation of artistic mediums, including luminous neon installations, intricate ceramics,
evocative bronze and stainless-steel sculptures, ethereal stained glass compositions, as well as
high-powered paintings. The exhibition will be curated by Katerina Patsalidou.

Through his work, Andreas has been financially supporting the “Miracle Babies” Association
(Mora Thavmata) which supports premature newborns and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
(NICU) of the Makarios Hospital. In this exhibition, a work worth 2000 euros will be exhibited,
which Stylianou will donate to the Association to be raffled off at a separate ceremony.

“HOLOMORPHOSIS” presented by Pierides Museum and Future DMND exemplifies an
unwavering commitment to fostering cultural resonance and artistic innovation.
